Just so you are all aware, all server software related to CraftBukkit such as Cauldron/Spigot have had their github sources removed due to the issues in the Bukkit community. It is with deep regret that I have no choice but to discontinue Cauldron as a Bukkit/Forge server. This does not mean that all the work in Cauldron is lost. It simply means anything related to Bukkit cannot be used. The rest of the code that was created by MCPC/Cauldron devs will still be reviewed and pushed into Forge(or another repo) if it is applicable. There is also a possibility of rebooting Cauldron for other projects such as Canary, Spout, etc.
As of now, my current plan is to collaborate with plugin devs to decide what the next best move is for us as a whole. If Forge is chosen as the platform to move to, I will gladly assist plugin developers with migrating to it as well as focus on adding more events to provide better protection on servers.
If you want to stay up to date with the progress, you can visit the cauldron IRC channel or a new channel started by a former developer of Bukkit "sk89q" called 'nextstep'. This channel was created for any developer that relied on Bukkit and is interested in working/discussing the next steps on fixing this whole issue. A google document can be found here

This document contains the current ideas that we all have on moving away from Bukkit.
Thank you all for your support over the past 2 years, it really has meant a lot to me.
Sincerely,
